Mutton Lettuce Tomato

Browsing the Jahshaka Forums I found MLT today, it’s incredible, it seems to do everything I ever wanted to do in OpenME, I’ll definitely look into this. I skimmed the docs, and the APIs seem to be as simple as necessary but not any simpler

Really a remarkable Project.

   Hello Richard. Looking over your OpenME project, I think we have compatible philosophies. You should swing by #mlt on irc.gnome.org and check out some of the work i’ve done on my website relating to mlt.

   Many thanks for your enthusiatic comments - MLT should indeed be useful for your OpenME project.

   Just FYI: There’s already a fltk based video editor based on MLT, but it’s focus is very narrow (designed for a TV broadcaster with news desk usage in mind). Details can be found at:

   Anyway, if you want some more info on MLT, feel free to contact us (via IRC or the mailing list).
